Having burst onto the scene with a string of free downloads and specialist bootlegs, followed by important releases on Nehza records, Over & Out, and Sound Transitions; Bristol-based producer Roaming Data makes his debut on HOMAGE for arguably his most complete work to date. Connecting the ever-blurring dots of bass, house, and electro - still heavily influenced by his native city and the UK's blossoming subcultures.

The success of his previous work has led to support from artists like Ross From Friends, Jaguar, and Roni, while causing chaos across multiple Keep Hush sets and appearances on Radio 1, NTS & Rinse. The latter being a guest mix invite from long-standing resident Miley Serious.

The EP's inception begins with the title track 'Such Is Life'; a futuristic cut made from analog warmth and emotionally stirring sound design. On 'Optimal', Roaming Data takes a mixture of idiosyncratic sounds and functional favorites, warping them into a buoyant, bass-heavy track that brings together multiple worlds and flavors. 'Modulate' changes the EP's energy entirely, on a cut of atmospheric, spine-tingling melancholy, that simultaneously looks inward and to the great beyond.

The EP's epilogue comes in the form of 'Protocol Accepted' an electro, UK hybrid that brings together some of the producer's most prominent influences. The result is a stripped-back, swing-laced mouth opener - demonstrating why he's one to watch in the world of underground dance music.
